Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center seeks nominations for Community Peacebuilder Award

WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center is accepting nominations for its first Community Peacebuilder Award, which will recognize individuals and groups that have promoted peaceful conflict resolution in Chelan and Douglas counties.

Nominations are open through Aug. 4. The winner will be announced at the center's annual celebration on Sept. 3.

Nominees may include youth, elders, volunteers, and programs from sectors such as the arts, education, healthcare, neighborhoods, environment, and public service.

The Dispute Resolution Center provides mediation services, conflict resolution training, and community education. Nominations can be submitted at wvdrc.org/events.
