NCW Libraries offers virtual Garden Doodling Workshop with Artist Rosemary Jones

Posted

WENATCHEE — NCW Libraries is offering a virtual workshop on garden doodling as part of its summer library program on August 14 from 3:00-4:30 pm.

Artist Rosemary Jones will lead the online class, held over Zoom. Participants of all ages and skill levels can learn how to create thin block letters and fill the empty space with whimsical garden-themed illustrations. The only supplies needed are paper, a pencil, and a hard surface to draw on.

Jones is a professional artist, illustrator, and muralist based in Everett, Washington. She has years of experience teaching art workshops for children and adults. Her website, The Art of Rosemary, provides more information about her work.

Registration is required to receive the Zoom link for the event. Those interested can sign up through the NCW Libraries online calendar at ncwlibraries.org.

The garden doodling class is one of several virtual programs included in NCW Libraries' summer offerings this year. The library's website has a full schedule of events.
