Chip seal work to delay traffic on US 97 near Brewster

BREWSTER – Travelers on State Route 97 will encounter traffic delays for a mile-long stretch of highway between mileposts 259 and 260 near Brewster.

The work will last between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Travelers will encounter pilot cars and flagger-controlled traffic while contractors perform chip sealing work.

This project is part of NCR Strategic Pavement Preservation 2023, which also includes work in Grant County and Chelan County. This work in Brewster represents one of its final stages.
