Wellspring celebrates back-to-school with supplies giveaway

BRIDGEPORT – The Wellspring of Life Church at 1300 Foster Avenue held a special celebration of Bridgeport school students last month. Under the guidance of co-pastors Zuni and Carlos Henriquez, the church distributed back-to-school supplies comprised of 100 backpacks and 250 boxes filled with school supplies among an estimated 400 people who showed up for the August 20 event.

Wellspring of Life also hosts a monthly food distribution day that this month runs from 5:30-7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16.
