Okanogan-Omak Rotary Foundation offers $13,000 in scholarships for local college students

OMAK — The Okanogan-Omak Rotary Club Foundation has announced the availability of two scholarships for students attending Wenatchee Valley College-North in Omak for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The first scholarship, totaling $9,000, is open to all students at the Omak campus. This award may be granted to a single recipient or divided among multiple applicants. The funds are intended to cover various educational expenses, including tuition, books, childcare, and transportation.

A second scholarship, the Catherine Rawson Nursing Scholarship, offers $4,000 specifically for students enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program or pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. This award has specific criteria outlined in the application packet.

Interested students are urged to contact the Financial Aid Office at Wenatchee Valley College-North immediately. The application deadline for both scholarships is August 19, 2024.
