Lady Bears bow out, 3-0, at state against Northwest Christian

SPOKANE – The Lady Bears varsity soccer team saw its battle to capture a trophy in the WIAA 1B/2B State Soccer Championships come to a close with a 0-3 first-round loss to the Northwest Christian (Colbert) Crusaders on the pitch at Central Valley High School last Wednesday, Nov. 13. 

The 12-9-1 Lady Bears finished third in the District 5 1B/2B Championships and won their spot in the state bracket with a 3-2 overtime win over La Salle on Nov. 6. Brewster was ranked 13 going into the first round against the Crusaders, 15-3-1 overall, who were ranked fourth.
