BREWSTER - Families looking for Easter festivities will have multiple options across the region with egg hunts scheduled in Brewster, Pateros, Mansfield, and Bridgeport on the weekend of April 19-20.

The weekend activities begin on Saturday, April 19, with morning events in three communities, followed by Bridgeport's hunt on Sunday.

The Brewster Chamber of Commerce will start festivities at 10 a.m. at Inning Park with an Easter egg hunt organized by age groups. Families will have the opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny during the event.

The Pateros/Methow Volunteer Fire Organizations (PMVFO) will also host their third annual Easter Fair at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Memorial Riverfront Park. The event includes an Easter egg hunt for children up to age 12 and a separate scavenger hunt with prizes for teens ages 13-15. Family photos with the Easter Bunny will be available by donation, and refreshments including cotton candy will be for sale. All proceeds go to PMVFO.

The Mansfield Lions Club egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. Saturday in Blue Stem Park, with age categories for children 1 and under, 2-4, 5-7, and 8 and over. Organizers note that "prize eggs" will be limited to one per child.

The Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce rounds out the weekend's activities on Sunday, April 20, with events at Bouska Square beginning at 1 p.m. for children ages 1-8, followed by a second hunt at 1:45 p.m. for ages 9 and up. The Bridgeport event will also feature a bicycle raffle with eight bikes available. Raffle tickets cost $5 each and can be purchased from chamber members and local stores.
