Superior Court


Arturo Lopez-Pacheco, age 39 from Bridgeport, pled guilty to Forgery. He was sentenced to 17 days and fined a total of $1,110.50.


A juvenile, age 16 from Bridgeport, pled guilty to Possession of Marijuana less than 40 grams. He was sentenced to two days confinement and six months community supervision.

Monday, Feb. 4

A report from Starr Rd. in Pateros of illegal burning. A subject at the location burning garbage.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

A report from Third St. in Brewster of an animal problem.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

A report from Main St. in Brewster of suspicious circumstances. Three male subjects in a white van at the location and one male looking in a window of a business. The other two males have what looked like a large suitcase. The reporting party refused to answer more questions and hung up after stating have the police check it out. An officer checked the location and the location is used as a bus stop for migrant workers going back and forth from California.

A report from Main Ave. in Brewster of an activated burglary alarm. An authorized cancel was received.

A report from Valley Rd. near Brewster of fraud. The reporting party received a bill from a collection agency for an outstanding bill from AT&T. The reporting party believes this is an identity theft that occurred in May of 2011.

Thursday, Feb. 7

A report from the alley at block Sixth in Brewster of an abandoned vehicle blocking the alley.

A one-vehicle rollover fatality accident occurred on Hwy. 97 near Pateros. The vehicle was in a rollover accident during passing.

Friday, Feb. 8

A subject at the intersection of Indian Ave. and Bridge St. in Brewster was cited and released for driving while his license was suspended.

A report from Seventh St. in Brewster of an assault. Two juveniles fighting at the baseball diamond. An officer responded and there did not seem to be a problem.

A report from Seventh St. in Brewster of an activated burglary alarm. An officer checked the location and the bank appeared locked and nothing appeared to be broken.

Saturday, Feb. 9

A report from 14th St. in Bridgeport of an attempt to locate a vehicle that was taken without the owner's permission. The vehicle was not entered as stolen.

A report from Ansel Ave. in Brewster of a burglary. A residence was entered yesterday and two laptops were taken.

A report from Hanson Ave. in Brewster of an intoxicated subject that took a vehicle without permission. The subject was located on Hwy. 97 in Brewster. The subject was taken into custody for driving under the influence and no valid operating license.

A report from Hwy. 97 near Pateros of a traffic hazard. A dead deer in the roadway. The roadway was cleared.

Sunday, Feb. 10

A report from Main Ave. in Brewster of an activated burglar alarm. An authorized cancelation was received. The owner arrived and reset the alarm.

A report from Fourth St. in Brewster of a theft. A subject stole multiple items from the reporting party's apartment while house sitting for the reporting party.

A report from Ives St. in Pateros of trespassing. The reporting party is watching a residence for the owner that is in jail. The reporting party saw a male subject at the bottom of the hill going to the residence. There are tracks to the house from the driveway.
