Easter egg hunt
The community Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at Brewster City Park. The hunt is open to children ages 1 to 10, with lots of prizes for each of the four age groups. The Easter egg hunt is sponsored by the Masons of Hermanos del Arte Masonic Lodge in Brewster.
Christian Schools open house
The Log Church Christian Schools will hold an ice cream social open house for parents of students and prospective students from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 13. This event allows parents to visit with teachers and have questions answered concerning the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. The Log Church Christian Schools is for students from preschool through grade 12.
Legion pool tourney
American Legion Post 97 hosts its weekly pool tournament each Sunday starting at 2 p.m. Entry fee is $5 and there's no late sign-up; play starts promptly at 2 p.m. In the April 1 tournament, Gary Ives won first place, Keith Downing won second and Larry Boyd won third.
Eagles Easter egg hunt
The Quad City Eagles will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at Marina Park. The hunt is open to kids from 2 to 8 years old, and prizes will be up for grabs. Kids are welcome to help dye the eggs at 5 p.m. this Thursday night, where snacks and juice will be provided.
An oyster feed will be held at 5 p.m. this Saturday at the Quad City Eagles. Have all you can eat of oysters and steamer clams. Tickets will be $22, sold at the door. For more information, call 686-5921.
Easter egg hunt
The community Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, on the lawn next to the Lakeshore Inn. Located on Lakeshore Drive, the Inn and its parent company, Pateros Trading Company, will host the hunt. For more details on other happenings that day for Splash into Spring, see Tidbits on page 2.
The Art of Marriage

4-H leader meeting

Greater Wenatchee Mended Hearts, Chapter 91, offers help, support and encouragement to heart patients and their families in North Central Washington. The next meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 at Smitty's Pancake House in Wenatchee. Dr. Kocher, cardiologist at Wenatchee Medical Center, will speak at noon about the various kinds of cardiac testing provided by WVMC. Okanogan County residents who are at least a college junior and are working toward an initial certificate in an educational field may apply now for this scholarship that is offered by the Okanogan County School Retirees Association. The scholarship amount will be no less than $600. Deadline for completed application form is May 1.
